We all know that dating isn’t as easy as what it used to be, even though we now have access to literally thousands of more options and people , it seems that too many choices hasn’t actually simplified it for us. Finding true love can be an exhausting process, it consumes time, emotions and can throw us on a rollercoaster of a ride with no certain outcome. So how do we make finding the right person less difficult and easier to access?

When we are presented with so many options, it’s hard to know where to start! Before you jump back into the dating game, first decide what it is you really want out of a partner and relationship .Write a list of all the traits you NEED and WANT, be honest but also realistic; seeing it written down on paper will help you assess whether or not the person you are looking for is achievable or if you are indeed living in a Disney movie.

Once you have decided what it is you want in a partner, start targeting groups, people and dating sites that can offer opportunities to meet that type of person. There’s no point either waiting around for them to manifest on your doorstep or trying out every single option till you find them, get specific with where you invest your time, emotions and even money. Narrow the playing field and stay focused on the goal. Dating is only as complicated as we make it.

The right person is worth the wait and whilst you may be frustrated or disheartened during the process it takes to find them, don’t let it deter you from the adventure. Learning to be whole and happy on your own will essentially be what helps you attract the right person at the right time. Keep a positive attitude and stay active in the dating game. It’s not about chasing love but rather being able to recognize it when it comes along.
